Need a free location for your next outdoor event, baseball game, soccer game or nature hike?
If your non-profit organization or youth group is looking for the perfect location, consider the beautiful new facilities at the 5.6 acre Foothills Heritage Park and the many miles of trails within Avimor.
A soccer field with goals was completed in the spring, and a newly installed backstop puts the finishing touch on a new baseball field.
Visitors are welcome to explore a number of themed gardens and the interesting wildlife along Spring Valley Creek by strolling along nearby walking trails that surround the park.
When you need a venue for an event, just call to reserve the beautiful circular lawn with amphitheater that plays host to the Evenings at Avimor concert series and other public gatherings.
In fact, the Avimor Conservation Director will be glad to lead your group on a private Plant and Wildlife Tour through the park or guide you along the miles and miles of trails and paths within this scenic 23,000 acre Foothills community.
Other ideas for your organization or group could include taking a guided Bird Walk to explore the many species of birds that inhabit the Foothills, or using the Foothills Heritage Park gazebo for a picnic, meeting or outdoor performance.
